Anthony Hoffa Sentenced to 40 Years for Child Molesting

On January 29, 2026, Judge David Happe sentenced Anthony Hoffa (40 of Lapel) to forty (40) years to be executed at the Indiana Department of Correction. Judge Happe found Hoffa to be a sexually violent predator and a credit-restricted felon, so Hoffa will have to serve at least 85% of his sentence in prison. Judge Happe also ordered Hoffa to register as a sex offender for life.
On December 16, 2025, Anthony Hoffa pleaded guilty as charged to four counts: Count I, Child Molesting, a Level 1 felony; Count II, Child Molesting, a Level 1 felony; Count III, Child Molesting, a Level 4 felony; and Count IV, Child Molesting, a Level 4 felony.
The State's case was presented by Deputy Prosecutor Dan Kopp. The case was investigated by Chief Kelly Naselroad of the Lapel Police Department.
